WordPress is Annoying. Time for Change.
The moment I abandoned WordPress. A dark page with nothing but an email address and a declaration.
By early 2010, my WordPress blog had been converted into a lifestream using David Cramer’s wp-lifestream plugin, aggregating my tweets, Reddit upvotes, Hulu watches, and iTunes purchases into one feed. It was fun while it lasted, but WordPress had become more trouble than it was worth.
I replaced the entire site with a single dark page.
WordPress is annoying. Time for change.
That was it. Black background, white text, one sentence, and an email address. The original blog posts were hidden and the six months of lifestream activity was gone.
For now, the whole site is just that page.
